Welle's Online Course Catalog

The Welle Online Training Course Catalog includes a number of modules that provide a comprehensive, prevention-focused framework that helps learners prevent, recognize, and respond to behavioral escalation—while driving better outcomes for staff and those in their care. 

Here are some examples of topics covered in our courses:

  • learning to recognize early signs of escalation and contributing factors that could prevent escalation in the future
  • creating a language to properly assess escalating behavior and communicate it accurately to teammates
  • choosing minimum impact response options to escalating behaviors
  • establishing a toolbox of techniques to be able to respond appropriately to escalating behavior
  • developing interpersonal skills to better utilize communication to defuse escalating situations
